Bonus Point Occupations - the MODL
Certain occupations on the Skilled Occupations List (SOL) are also classified as "high in demand" due to skill shortages in Australia.
These occupations can be found on the Migration Occupations In Demand List (MODL). This list is revised in accordance with prevailing industry and employment trends. If your nominated occupation is on the MODL when your application is assessed, you may be awarded bonus points in the Points Test. Furthermore, if you also have a job offer from an Australian employer, relevant to your occupation, you can receive additional points.
