Tasks Include:

• reviews and assesses stories and other material for radio,
  television, stage or film productions
• recommends or advises on the purchase of material submitted
  by freelance writers
• edits material to ensure conformity with company policy
• directs the preparation of scripts to be read by announcers to
  introduce and connect parts of musical, news, sports or
  special events programs
