As is the nature of life's journey, skilled workers enter Australia via a range of different pathways and LIVE IN australia.com has been able to help all of them. This was no better illustrated than two clients, Monica from India and Bettina from Germany.
Monica came as a student to study Building Design Technology in Australia, and after graduating is currently working fulltime at Howard's Storage World where she worked part-time while on a student visa. Monica was thrilled that her employer was willing to sponsor her on a 457 to allow her to stay on in Australia.
"I never expected the support because my student visa was expiring but I loved this country and I wanted to stay. I'd been there for nine months and my employer said he wouldn't be able to find someone like me and he was quite happy to apply for my visa and here I am working full time," said a delighted Monica.
"It was very easy for me. I had to provide a few certificates, but all the hard work was done by Jack and I'm very thankful to him and LIVE IN australia because it was planned nicely and they knew what they were doing.
Bettina had made several trips to Australia previously, and having built up a network of friends and also enjoying the climate and general 'atmosphere' of life in Australia, decided to apply for a permanent visa. In managing the process herself, Bettina couldn't recall how she came across LIVE IN australia.com but knows it made the whole process much simpler.
"It took me a long time to decide to go through the process. It was like a big mountain that I had to climb," recalls Bettina.
