Relocating to Australia
English language assistance
Not everyone who comes to Australia speaks English as a
first language and certainly not everybody who already
lives in Australia speaks English as a first language.
However, it is possible for all these people to improve
their English, and thereby maximize their prospects in
the career arena. Even more important, an improved
capacity to speak and understand English - and to read
and write it - will enhance their ability to
successfully integrate into the community.
Throughout Australia, there are many colleges and other
education providers who can teach English at a variety
of entry levels, from ‘better than beginner’, to
intermediate programs, to advanced programs that help
people who can talk about most topics and understand
everything except very technical or complex language.
While there are many more, here is a partial list of
English program providers around who belong to
English Australia (EA). EA member colleges are
located in Australia's major cities and regional
locations.
