Ausssie Survival Guide
Australia's Top Ten Dangerous Critters

Most Australian animals can be grouped under the cute and/or cuddly banner. However, Australia also has its fair share of painful and poisonous creatures.

We have deadly spiders, and six of the world's top ten most deadly snakes. Our amazing and beautiful platypus produces one of the most painful venoms known.

Fortunately, most people can spend a lifetime in Australia and never see a snake or a salt-water croc in the flesh. But it makes sense to prepare and take precautions if, say, you're going bushwalking or swimming in the sea ... which you just don't do in some places, at particular times of the year.
