Have you lived and worked anywhere else in the world?

I was "born and bred" in Australia, but a passion for travel has taken me to around thirty countries so far.

What is the most common problem you solve for customers?

My favourite cases involve finding solutions for clients where it seems there are none! Australian immigration laws can also be very complex, so a small mistake can have a big impact. I’d like to think we provide certainty and peace of mind in this regard.

What are your top 3 recommendations for migrants to do and see in Australia?

Australia is truly one of the most beautiful countries on the planet, so this is a tough choice. Here are some favourites:

  • Sydney Harbour on a sunny day or during New Year's Eve is amazing
  • Margaret River winery region in Western Australia (Vasse Felix is a particular favourite)
  • The Great Ocean Road in Victoria is a stunning experience, especially if you love driving

Why do you love helping people migrate to Australia?

My family migrated here almost forty years ago (from Beirut) and so I have always been keenly aware of the challenges involved for migrants before and after they arrive, as well as the terrific contribution that they make to Australian culture. I am also deeply proud of my country and it is a privilege to help share it with others through what we do each day.

What has been the highlight of your immigration career?

It is a highlight every time one of our clients receives their visa!

In fact, we celebrate each one as a team because it reminds us of why we exist.
