Burma Appeal

We were saddened by the tragedy that has struck Burma after cyclone Nargis devastated the Irrawada delta, resulting in over 22,000 deaths and 41,000 people missing so far.

World Vision already has 500 people on the ground working to provide shelter, food and water and is one of only 2 agencies allowed to operate in Burma presently.

Contributing to humanitarian initiatives is an important part of our company culture at LIVE IN australia.com and we will be immediately donating $AU2,500 to the World Vision appeal.

You can make a donation directly to World Vision for this appeal here.

There are many people registered with us who are from the affected region. To send them a message of support, simply enter it below and push submit. We will do our best to ensure all messages are sent as quickly as possible.

For every message of support that is submitted, LIVE IN australia.com will donate $AU10 up to a an additional $AU3,000.

Its hard to understand and imagine such a grief. Sometimes you watch a TV you see all this people dieing you think that it never can happen to you. But actually it can. Every day every minute, you never know. I can only say that I m very sorry… I can’t help and nobody can, but I feel your pain. This is shock for all of us. Be strong, help to those ones who survived and revere those ones who died. And help you God.

hearts go out to those who have suffered immense loss of life and property in Burma. may god help them came out of this situation.
