In film, Australia has a reputation for innovation and quality, and for producing films like The Castle, Muriel's Wedding and Moulin Rouge which have a unique Australian flavour, yet international appeal. Director Baz Luhrmann and a host of successful Australian actors, including Nicole Kidman, Geoffrey Rush and Cate Blanchett certainly have made Hollywood stand up and take notice!
